So I have a question that I need answered in order to put my mind to rest. So a bit over a month ago, I dated this one guy for 7 days and I need to know, for that amount of time together, would he be considered my ex? Idk because he was my first boyfriend and I have no idea about this stuff.

For that story, I realized that I didn't have any ideas for what could happen, so I decided to discontinue it and start a new story with the same main character, Sienna, and her back story is the same, but instead of being Harry's sister, she is Voldemort's daughter. This other story is called 'The American Witch in a British World' if you want to read more content with Sienna being the main character.
I have an important question.
If someone has a birthday in the year 1980 from August 1st to August 30th, would they start their first year at Hogwarts in the same year as Harry or as Ginny? (Harry is born in 1980 and the Hogwarts admittance letters say to respond by July 31st)
