Hellooo
          I'm here after re reading "i am lord voldemort" again.
          Istg this is one of the best fanfics I've everrrrr read.
          Especially i love the OG plot. There is something just so magical, so heart wrenching about it. I keep coming back to re read and torture myself.
          The alternative timeline is also amazing, but the original plot does the magic for me.
          Thank you so much for this wonderful story!
          I'll come back when i re read it again!!!

What inspired the character "Atticus"? It's obvious he existed in a mental hell for so long, and had unhealthy obsessive tendencies (which were written beautifully and worked out great in the end), but he was a pretty complex character, and I'm having a hard time finding another wattpad book with a character as multi dimensional and complex. What inspired the creation of that anti-hero/supervillain?
                          {• • • •}
            I am obsessed with how well written this story was. It has made my entire year . It is the best possible "first book" to get me back into reading. Super Villainous relit the fire inside of me. Thank you.

His name is an unsubtle pull from To Kill a Mockingbird, but I took heavy inspiration from the dynamic between spider Man and green goblin, with atticus being the unstable goblin in this scenario and tempest being spider man (who I initially intended to make the male lead). When I decided that making the villain the male lead had more potential, I had to find a reason for his madness and villainy that was compelling enough to make choosing him over tempest realistic. From there, I took inspiration from Rogue in the X-men for his powers but pushed the consequences a little further than simply gaining her victims memories. I knew early on that madness and pain would essentially make him addicted to the cure when he found it, but because he was generally a good guy who once had aspirations of being a hero that would make him conflicted from guilt over using Lily after he regained enough of his right mind to realize what he was doing. Personality-wise, I wanted him mellow to contrast Tempest’s traditional superhero excessive optimism, but also terribly lonely from being forced into a fish out of water situation. I can’t say I had any character particularly in mind for his personality, but Howl from Howl’s moving castle comes to mind as a template for someone with an excessively calm personality (mostly) that I like, and also cardan’s humor from The Cruel Prince .

            I’m glad you liked it! Hearing that people enjoyed the story always makes my whole week

Be not alarmed by the new cover for Kill Your Darlings (which I also renamed to A Revenge So Bittersweet). I hate making covers bc it always ends up giving that “graphic design is my greatest passion” meme but the original one was always a placeholder anyway.

          In other news, I’ll be uploading the first teaser chapter for Super•Villainess (sequel to - you guessed it - Super•Villainous) later this week after I grudgingly make yet another cover. Sigh.

Not to boost anyone’s hopes prematurely, but I can finally confirm their will be a sequel to Super•Villainous in the DISTANT future. I got inspired by a tiktok I saw the other day and couldn’t get this new idea out of my head, so I’ve finally started chapter one, but there’s a lot of plotting to be done before I start posting so don’t expect it anytime soon :)

@WhatTomfoolery Just finished Super Villainous.... I ABSOUTELY LOVED IT! With that ending, and so many twists and turns, I am TERRIFIED of what is going to happen in the sequel. I also kinda have a grudge for leading us on like that. However, I WILL ABSOLUTELY BE READING THE SEQUEL! .
            Thank you
