Hey everyone! I know it’s been a while. I’ve been thinking about my story here in Wattpad a lot recently and with a lot of reconsideration, I think it may be time to open it back up. I have new ideas about how to move the plot along and different directions to take the characters in. I’m excited to get going again. The next update won’t be for a little while, probably around the end of December, a sort of Christmas gift, I suppose. Wattpad has always been my main platform and I’m ready to return. Thank you for waiting it out.

Hi guys! I've noticed a bunch of comments about something that's written in "Spin the Bottle//Byler" and I just wanted to address the issue. In Chapter 5, El makes a comment about how when girls share beds, nobody says anything because it's assumed that they're just friends. I've read the feedback on that line and it has been overwhelmingly negative. A lot of people have shared their own personal experiences with homophobic comments in these experiences and I've realized that the line comes off as insensitive and downplays the struggles queer women face. This, of course, was never my intention. I based this assumption off of what I was seeing in the show along with my own experiences compared to that of my male friends. I realize now that I must have been extremely lucky to have never had bad experiences and I want to apologize to everyone who has. I'm sorry for being so insensitive and I plan on altering the line to be more accurate. Thank you for sticking it through, I love you all.

          I’m currently editing and posting Spin the Bottle on AO3. The main edits are that I’m adding capitalization and taking out the excessive use of “Mikey” per popular demand so if you’re interested in checking it out, I will post that link when I’m done. I’m changing anything that is excessively cringey, too. So, be excited. 

**Explanation for my Byler story**
          
          Hi guys! First, I want to express my appreciation for all the love you've given 'Spin the Bottle', my Byler story. Thank you all so much, it just warms my heart. 
          
          What I wanted to address was the seemingly dramatic plot twist that separates Section I and Section II of my book. I recognize that a lot of people probably started reading the story expecting smut, however, after a lot of back and forth over quite a long period of time, I decided it was not a good idea to include smut in the story while they're underaged. It makes me uncomfortable, now that I'm 18, to write underaged smut. 
          
          That's why I've included this plot twist, to insert a period of time that won't change the relationship between Will and Mike but will add some time and when they reunite again, they'll just pick up where they left off and yes, there will finally be smut. 
          
          It took a long time for me to figure out something that would work for this story but would also accomplish what I wanted, to age up the characters. That's why I've done this. 
          
          With that being said, there is a new chapter in the works and hopefully, if all goes right, it will be published sometime this week or next. Thank you all for reading, commenting, voting, I appreciate it so much.

Hey y'all!
          
          I know I've been really inconsistent with my posts and I'm sorry. I've been super busy trying to juggle working part-time, senior year, staying active, dancing, among other things. But, writing is really important to me so I'm going to try to prioritise it.  Unfortunately, I have no inspiration for my Byler story, which is my most popular story. I have been doing quite a bit of writing on my Tumblr on other topics if you want to check it out. 
          
          Anyway, happy 2021, my loves. I hope this year is better than the last. Also, just a heads-up, I graduate in May and I'm not sure what writing in college is going to look like for me. I don't know how often I'll be able to do it, but rest assured, this is not the end! I am determined to finish the Byler book if nothing else.
