@CrowningCrows okay I understand what if maybe you collaborate with someone seeing as you said it hot boring because you had to keep re reading the original book if you collab that way you can both share ideas or just create your own plot

@IThinkTheThinkNot Aw, I'm glad you enjoyed it! And so many people have asked the same thing you have that I have been thinking on it but honestly, I'm just very unsure about it. Because it'd be a lot to trust someone, especially a stranger, with a story that I adored and put a lot of work into. If the right person came along, then maybe...just maybe...Bruised will make a comeback. Till then, it'll be sitting on Wattpad, unfinished, but available for those who'd like to read it.

Is their even a slimmer of a chance you could end up updating “bruises” because it was such a good story and it made my day by reading it. I basically hauled up in my room reading your fan fiction because I thought it was so good. I really wish you could have ended up continuing it, if you ever do feel like continuing I want to be the first to know please.

@turtleluvr09 Hello! I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed my fanfic. Comments like that never cease to surprise me as for "Bruised" I don't think I'll ever continue it. It was lots of fun to write but I felt pretty restricted since I was following the original timeline. And that involved quite a bit of research and rereading of the first few books to keep it accurate. It ended up being a lot more work than I bargained for. However, and I make no promises on this, I have been thinking of rewriting Bruised. Doing a total rework of it but still keeping some things the same like the character dynamics, interchanging POVs, and of course the wonderful Aya. But of course, again, no promises there. Thanks for taking the time to read!

Did anyone ever adopt bruise? I’ve reread it like four times and I wanted to know if there is a finished version out there.

I'm happy to hear you still take the time out of your days to read and even reread my fanfic. ☺️ I was asked once if I would consider putting it up for adoption but I politely declined since I was entirely comfortable with it. It's just that I put a lot of work and love into "Bruised" that I didn't want to give it away...even though it is unfinished. So, I'm sorry to say there is not a finished version out there unfortunately

I swear I'm not dead. At one point I had finished chapter 6 for BDSH but then I hated it. So I began to rewrite but I hated how that was going so I redid it...again. BUT THEN, I didn't like that one either.
So I started over and now, now I'm liking how this current rewrite is going. Let's hope it stays that way. Look forward to an update in the near future!
P.S. some bonus content will appear once all the main characters are revealed. ;3c

Hmm...thinking of changing BDSH pov from third-person to alternating first-person like in Bruised. I think I'd enjoy writing the story more if I did. But I'm probably gonna go back and edit the first two chapters to reflect that change if I do.
So yeah. Hmm.....

One year later...
It surprises me that Bruised still gets attention to this day. It's really nice to see a little notification saying this person liked a chapter or that person added it to a reading list. I still feel guilty for discontinuing it but honestly after awhile it got stressful because I got soooo hooked on details to the point I was rereading the Ghost Bird series to stay accurate to the timeline.
That took the fun out of it, but again many thanks to you guys who took the time to read it. I hope you'll stick around again for the upcoming mess that'll be coming very soon.

I have decided to discontinue "Bruised" and I am very sorry to let you guys, the readers, down. I had so many ideas for this fanfiction that I wanted to write but my ambitions were too big for me to handle in the end. Even so, thank you for taking the time to read the story, to vote, and to comment on the both silly and sad ongoings in "Bruised."
Before coming to this decision I was motivated to try and write the next chapter a few weeks ago. Until once again things got in the way, and my motivation dropped off the radar. Would you guys like to at least see what I had managed to get done before saying goodbye to Aya and what could've been? Or shall I just leave at that?
Again, thank you for giving my fanfiction a read and tolerating the horrible wait between updates. Although I may no longer be continuing "Bruised," and "9 lives" while we're on the subject, this doesn't mean I'll stop writing.
I have quite a few stories in the works but whether they'll see the light of day is a question yet to be answered.

@lexiloo7 oh most definitely. It'll still be on this account as will 9 lives. The only one I did delete to declutter was the "Bruised" deleted scenes version so to say. Oh and I will most likely publish what I have left of the story either later on today or tomorrow.

@lexiloo7 Thank you! It makes me happy to hear that you loved it. I'm also sad about having to discontinue it but I feel I had to let it go in order to work on something new. I want to dedicate my time and focus on these new projects I have in mind. Hopefully, when I do upload it on Wattpad you'll like the characters and story as much as you did with "Bruised." Hmm, I'm sorry but I think I'll have to pass on the adoption. I'm not completely averse to the idea but I'm not exactly comfortable with it either.

@lexiloo7 Probaby soon, I did write a draft for the next chapter but I've been distracted as of late. But after that I'm not sure if I'll be able to get in another update anytime soon.
