@carolSfoster I am definitely going to finish it. I wanted to do it in tandem with All My Broken Pieces but that book has taken on A TON of emotions that I have no reserves left for The Boy I Never Had right now, and I am reworking Whispers Of Forever and Wicked Little Words to get ready to publish them onto Amazon.             The honest answer? Your guess is as good as mine at this point 
            
            Right now I'm juggling All My Broken Pieces while also reworking Whispers of Forever and Wicked Little Words so I can get them ready for Amazon, so I'm keeping myself nice and busy.
            
            But don't worry, The Boy I Never Had is absolutely still happening. I haven't forgotten about it, and I promise I'll get there ❤️

@ConniePickenCharby I can’t give you an exact chapter because truthfully, I don’t even know that answer myself yet, but we still have a long way to go before we get there...
            
            There’s so much layered into this story beyond what’s currently happening with Laken’s mom, and everything that’s coming is going to be... brutal. Emotionally, anyway. (At least I hope I write it well enough for it to hit that way lol.)
            
            The cheating is what ultimately breaks Grace and Laken’s relationship apart, but it’s not the beginning of the damage — it’s the thing that finally topples everything that’s already been cracking underneath them.
            
            And unfortunately, it’s going to get a whole lot worse before it gets better... 
            
            I hope this is an okay answer?

@clynn1977 Haha, you’re not crazy—I did write a prologue 
            I’ve temporarily banished it to the unpublished void because it was giving me some serious writer’s block. Turns out locking myself into a super strict timeline and set of events was not the move. I felt like I was dragging the characters to their marks instead of letting them wander there naturally.
            
            The outcome of that prologue isn’t changing, but the how, when, and “wait why did this happen again?” parts might shift a little as I let the story breathe.
            
            It was my first time ever writing a prologue, and consider this my official learning moment. Safe to say, I will not be handcuffing myself like that again
