the use of a.i. generated images on this app have become so normalized, and it's just sad. it's not as bad as the people using it and masquerading as real artists and selling them to unsuspecting buyers, but it still helps train the a.i. model to be better at generating images, which would, in turn, threaten the livelihood of actual artists. because why would you spend money on someone when a.i. can do something similar for free, right?
          
          if this continues, corporations will definitely start laying off their employees in favor of a.i. 
          
          animated shows will be done by a.i. one of these days, and that's not something i want. such soulless entertainment is horrible.
          
          hell, even writers would likely soon phase out of existence since people can just ask a.i. to write easily customizable stories for them. a.i. as a tool may be helpful, but a.i. as a generative object is a threat to art as we know it.

@RepulsiveKiyo, i'm not even just sad anymore. i actually hate generative a.i. 
            
            that shit has been getting better day by day. a.i. generated videos will one day reach the point where it could be used as evidence in court to frame you, and that day is closer than what any of us thinks.
            
            we're fucked as a society as long as we don't do anything about this.
            
            this isn't even about laziness. generative a.i. poses an actual threat to everyone.

@WhiteRoomMasterpiece that has always been one of my concerns but unfortunately it can't be stopped now, people have gotten too lazy and even the people who wouldn't have even dared to write a story are now posting it and what's worse is they never tell whether they used a.i. or not, unlike the artists who still take a.i. generated with the images

          like, dude, if i can leave my shitty one chapter fanfic that i left in indefinite hiatus back in 2021 published, you can leave your semi-decent 20 chapter fanfic up.
          
          it might be inconsequential in the grand scheme of things, but i don't really like literature, no matter how bad, to be erased from history.

don't you just hate it when you click on a story, and the summary is literally just "yeah, i wrote this shit" without giving an actual summary?
          
          like, bro. at least give us an actual basis to decide whether or not we should read the story.

i can't be the only one that hates insults like sl*t, r*tard, and the like, right? 
          
          insults are great when they're tailor-made for the person being insulted to inflict as much damage as possible. 
          
          general insults like the aforementioned are just degenerate. there's no artisty there. no taste at all. all it accomplishes is making the insulter look like an asshole.
          
          well, the other type of insults also does that, but, at least, there's effort there. there's value.
