✨ A Small Thank You From the Author ✨
I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has taken the time to read or view my book. Every reader who clicks on my story means more to me than you know. Writing this project has been a very personal journey, and sharing it with others is something I do not take lightly.
**Book I - The Akhkora Contract (The Wounds of the Inner Child) ** is the first book in a four-book series that follows my life from childhood up until the age of twenty. While the story is written as fiction, it is deeply inspired by my real-life lived experiences.
The first book is intentionally a slow burn. Every moment in the story is meant to be felt and understood. Some experiences carry intensity, but they are written that way so the reader can truly connect with the emotions behind them.
This first book explores the origin of my family bloodline and the spiritual themes that were deeply rooted in my upbringing and culture. As the story unfolds, readers begin to see my mother's story and the early beginnings of my childhood, including the events that eventually led me into the foster care system.
One of the central themes in this book is generational trauma. I believe this is something that is not talked about enough. Many of the wounds we carry today come from generations before us, and when those wounds go unhealed, they often continue to create cycles of pain.
I believe that if we truly want to create a better world, it begins within our homes, our families, and our communities. Healing those deeper wounds within ourselves is part of that process.
Writing this series requires a lot of vulnerability from me. By sharing parts of my story, my hope is that it might inspire others to reflect on their own journeys and maybe even find the courage to face and heal the wounds within their own lives.
✨ I would love to hear from you:
Do you think generational trauma plays a role in shaping who we become?
