Come discuss my story with me! For my beautiful readers, I wanted to let you guys know that the rest of the chapters will be up as soon as I have the time. I'm constantly doing make-overs to my work, so if you go back and read something that's a little different, that's probably why. I've decided to make my story more historically accurate, so if there is a MAJOR change, like in setting, please do not get scared! :) I also plan on developing a more interesting relationship with Maurice and Lafayette's French friends, so look forward to that!!

@WhoTookMyHistoryB00K I thought of this story again when I saw all of the news about the Lafayette Tour Bicentennial celebrations around the U.S. I was wondering if you knew about them. It’s cool to see that other people actually remember Lafayette as well.

@Ms1777 I love Brian Wiles portrayal of Lafayette! I honestly have only seen the episodes that have Lafayette in it if I’m being completely honest. When I did want to start watching the whole show, Netflix took it off sadly. From all the portrayals of Lafayette in the media, I feel like Turn’s Lafayette is definitely the most accurate. Many shows and movies make him more of a silly caricature, a French stereotype, or socially and emotionally immature. On the other hand, he is shown as very stern and serious in “La Révolution Française” (1989) or an unrealistic and perfect man in “La Fayette” (1962). It’s unfortunate that he had such little screen time, but the time that he did have was executed very well in my opinion!
