@tarnz106 Thank you for your thoughtful question! I have been thinking about this also, as I have said in the description is no "emotional cheating" but there are "blurred lines." But I do recognize that the elements that you have pointed out are a kind of betrayal also (and that is definitely going to be addressed later in the story). I think that the definition that I was thinking of, if you can call it that, for "emotional cheating" involves a deep emotional bond, secrecy, sharing of feelings, excessive communication, emotional reliance on the other person. I don't see Micah developing that kind of relationship with Audra (however she might want it, and Melody fears it); however his emotional focus is taken away from his family in a detrimental way, but more because of his pull toward Ben (for more reasons than he really understands at this point). However, you and the other commenters have a point and I will change my description so as not to take anyone off guard when they read the story. Thank you!
