question: is it weird to start a story with a major event?? like, i’m writing this story and before i even introduce all the characters, they’re placed in a scene which serves as a major event in terms of establishing character relationships?? but it’s just a starting point it’s not the major climax?? idk i don’t write full stories i always start them and then they’re too hard so i stop

You are literally the best writer ever, your writing holds both emotion, yet also comedy. It portrays how each character feels by details and body language. The character development is both drawn out -in a good way - yet still works so it builds up off each other. You can build up something so beautiful yet can also break it down, and still have the readers attention no matter where in the book. (I’m reading Dirty Laundry)

okay hear me out. a jukebox musical. but mUSE. OKAY SO LIKE DRONES OR SIMULATION THEORY (the best albums) WOULD BE SO GOOD BECAUSE THEY BOTH ALREADY TELL STORIES PRETTY MUCH AND UGH IT WOULD BE SO GOOD

for those wondering: 
            1) a jukebox musical is a musical where the soundtrack is a rerecording of a pre existing album (like american idiot, head over heels, jagged little pill, etc)
            
            2) I didn’t say resistance because, while it does tell a story as an album, it’s already based on 1984 by george orwell sO if they were gonna make a musical about that sort of thing they would probably just do it based on the book
