to our lovely followers and admins alike,
the password has been changed, and the hacker is gone, yes. but they could come back at any time, and for now, this account's guard is up pretty high, at least ours are.
they were reported to an ambassador directly, so even if they hadn't closed their account themselves, it would have been dealt with.
we will not be changing our ways. wattpad is turning into a relatively dark place with a lot of negativity, and this account is one of few that is directly geared towards peace. this account is not used for anything more than uplifting our community, and that will not be changing.
that account simply wanted us to engage and "lose their game." the message in which they told us to be who they want us to be and stop doing what we love to do will not be deleted, at least not by us. we wish for it to stand as a reminder that we don't back down, rather stand up for what we believe in, and we hope our fellow account members feel the same. there is no need for it to be removed or for us to change to appease them. that's not what we're here for.
they were looking to reveal us as hypocrites, they were trying to turn us into bad guys, but we're not a burn book. we're not here to attack those who commit hate, we're here to extinguish the fires that they're trying to start.
love is stronger than hate. we're so much more than an account that was thrown together because our friends were under discrimination. we're a family, and a strong one at that, and we're here for anyone. not just ourselves.
