When I took off for the summer, I left everything behind. My family, pets, most of my clothes, and my journal. This journal held my mind. All of my thoughts and writing and some of my drawings were put into this journal. It was full, not a single page was empty. I left it at home in hopes of escaping for a few months, but soon realized how bad of an idea that was. I had thoughts haunting me while I went about my day. I had writing that was left unfinished and it bugged me. I wanted to read what I wrote and I wanted to work on my writings. I bought a new journal and some pens to restart, but it wasn't quite the same.
Tomorrow I return home and will be reconnected with that journal. Also, I will begin to update my stories more as most of the updates were written in that journal. I hope my absence didn't turn many of you away. I know I have a very small following, but I hope to reconnect with some of you as well and I hope you enjoy what's to come.
