Not gonna lie… the blue and pink heart emojis SJM used in the announcement got me nervous and excited at the same time :’( because everyone already knows blue = Azriel and pink = Elain. And before anyone twists my words, I’m not an Elain hater. I just personally never really connected with her character like that. The way she’s written always gave me someone who wants that Prince Charming fairytale type of love. But with her and Azriel… their scenes mostly read as tension and physical attraction to me. I don’t really see a deep emotional connection there yet. Another thing is the whole one brother, one sister situation. Since Feyre is with Rhys and Nesta is with Cassian, putting Elain with Azriel just feels very neat and cliché to me. Tropes can be fun but that one just doesn’t excite me personally. I’m more interested in Azriel and Gwyn honestly. Their dynamic feels like it could build into something deeper emotionally, and the detail about his shadows reacting to Gwyn always stood out to me since his shadows are basically an extension of him. But again this is just my opinion. I read a lot and I analyze characters a lot too. I’m not here to argue with anyone or fight about ships. When the next books drop the fandom is probably gonna be chaotic anyway :’( I’m just sharing my thoughts and yapping.

@ WickeddBitchh I liked Fourth Wing as far as I read, i liked ACOTAR too, but above them was ToG and Katherine Arden's Winternight. Have you read it. Also I am from Romania. Where are you from?

SJM just announced the next two books for the ACOTAR series are done and one is dropping this year October and the other January 2027 let’s hope she gives the only right choice for Azriel which is my baby Gwyn herself. Also do right by my guy Lucien. Either way I’m scared but excited and anxious and my emotions are going all over the place thinking of the possibilities.

Guys is it just my app, I can’t go to my library and look at my books. Also when I search and click on a book it’ll say something about me not having access to read it, even though it’ll be a book I’ve seen and read already.
