I, wow, I actually have no idea what to say.
          
          Okay, so, uh, not going to put on a professional mask here this time I’m going to be completely bloody honest:
          Season 2 of Hazbin Hotel is FANTASTIC, but it changes things in Royal’s story A LOT- I won’t be spoiling it for those who have yet to watch it but I will say this:
          Probably won’t affect any of you too heavily since I’ve already been behind on writing, but Royal may not be continued. No it’s not canceled, but I’ll definitely have to work on other stories not related to Hazbin Hotel for the time being (I have a lot of other OCs there as well yet to appear and these new updates will be affecting ALL of them…)
          
          To make up for all this though, I AM going to knuckle down and keep my promise about writing for other projects. I’ll be discussing with LyraMoon18 which ones I may start (I have A LOT-) and will try to make an announcement beforehand to let everyone know. No schedule for when I’ll be publishing, but I will make sure to do so more often. 
          
          Thank you so much for your patience everyone, I know this has been really bothersome and I sincerely apologize for that. (Hell I’ll be completely honest, I probably would have given up hope on the story being continued if I was on your end…)

Update because this account is not actually dead:
          
          Royal’s story has received some lore updates! While I can’t promise any actual dates for the next chapter’s release, I can at least promise that progress has been made and I may actually be publishing some new stories within that same universe! Meantime, keep an eye out on LyraMoon18’s channel. She’s been working hard as well and has some awesome content coming soon! 
          
          Here’s some of the new updates for those who are curious:
          New characters, new lore for the world (it’s an au so yes I will be straying from canon), new couples, and new (real life) friends who will be contributing to the creation of the story! This last one will not only help me to get chapters out faster, but also provide suggestions and ideas for the future!

          ???: “Ray you absolute IDIOT! What were you thinking starting a fight in the lobby?!”
          
          Ray: *rolls eyes* “Oh shut it, it’s not like I came in there wishing to fight.”
          
          ???: “Yet you did, almost getting the rest of the gang kicked out AGAIN!”
          
          Ray: “You say that like the same thing didn’t happen to you already. Quit trying to tell me how to live my life! It’s not like you know how to behave perfectly, otherwise you wouldn’t have been sent down to rot away in hell with the rest of us!”
          
          ???: “…”
          
          Ray: *scoffs* “Besides, since when do you care about (REDACTED) and the others? From what I heard, you hate his guts and want to slice and dice them all and feed it to the cannibals.”
          
          ???: *voice breaks* “You really think I care for the sicko who put me in chains and made a laughing stock of me, who beats me every night because I try to have some free will…?”
          
          Ray: *silent, not expecting that answer*
          
          ???: *looks away, trying to maintain a stern face* “Forget it, how come a mindless animal like yourself has not already been fed to that d**k sucking colony of creeps?”
          
          
          (Won’t lie I intended to write more but lost motivation rather quickly)

Good news and bad(ish) news:
          
          Bad News: Updates on Royal’s story may continue to be slow since I’m hoping to wait until more information on season two of Hazbin Hotel is released due to its focus on the Vee’s (season two will probably not affect Royal’s plot and preplanned story but I would like to know a bit more about Vox and how his technology functions so that I can make it a bit closer to canon). 
          Don’t worry, I’m not going to avoid work until the season ends; I’m going to gather information as time goes on, but I can promise you all that there WILL be parts posted before the season ends (just bear in mind that not every aspect will be the same as it is in the show. I have a preplanned plot going on meaning whatever goes down in canon after season 1 will have little impact on my stories themselves (especially concerning Lute (hint hint).
          
          
          Good News: I know I promised you all a lot of upcoming projects, and I’m happy to say progress has been made on one of them! (The others are still in the planning stages). I will still need you all to be patient since I do have a life outside of writing, but I am happy to announce that there will be more updates in the recent future relating to this new story! 
          (Also keep up with LyraMoon18’s channel if you haven’t already. Not going to spill everything just yet, but she may or may not be helping me to write this next book as well…  (not to mention she’s an INCREIDBLE writer as it is and just hit 1k views on her first prompt book which is something she dedicates a lot of time into and loves to hear your comments on )

Back again to apologize for slow updates… life has been a bit difficult and the update about season two of hazbin hotel centering around the Vee’s got me a little nervous about the idea of messing something up in the story. Good news is, I’m working with LyraMoon18 to hopefully get another part out within the week and (no promises unfortunately),  I may also be releasing a preview into an upcoming series I’ll be writing with some friends! This upcoming story is honestly one I am more passionate about than ever and will put as much effort and detail into so that every chapter is worth the long wait it is between publishing them all!
          
          Thank you again for your patience with me, I know it’s difficult to bear such long and quiet waits between parts… (it’s difficult on my end as well not being able to write and having the self doubt plague me and my writings every day )

Apologies for the lack of updates recently. I’ve been focusing on other project ideas that I will eventually publish (many of which are collaborations which adds another layer of time before release). Good news is, Royal’s story IS still one of my top priorities and WILL be getting another chapter very soon! I’ve been stalling a bit since I’m collaborating with a friend on it, planning to add some of their OC’s to the next chapter. I also don’t watch the show myself meaning I need to find other methods of gaining information on it before I go too deep into the story…
          
          Anyways, thank you all very much for your patience and know that I have much more planned that shall soon be revealed!
