I have made sense of the world through books. Their smell, feel, weight all a reminder of who I have been and who I hope to become. I am a mix of all my favorite characters. Josephine March with her wild ways and love for the theater. Anne Shirley with her temper and need to become more than what she was. Mary Lennox with her fire and desire for searching out the unknown. These characters and the women who created them also created me. I was born from their words, which formed me into the woman I am today. I am thankful to them for that, and it is my dearest wish that one day my words can form others into the people they wish to become. This is why I am a storyteller. I use words to express how I feel when nothing else can.
