It has been my dream to write my own book since I picked up my first book at age four called the Berenstain Bears. I quickly moved on to the Baby-Sitters Club series then Sweet Valley High and then I started taking my moms book. It's amazing I still remember the name of it: I'll Take Manhattan by Judith Krantz.
From than on I was a voracious reader.
I never ventured far from my books. Where I was, a book was sure to be near.
True story: when I was growing up, my family and I went through a period of homelessness. We could only take what we could carry when we were forced to move. I took a dress, a pair of jeans, two shirts, a couple changes of underwear, and the rest of my garbage was filled with books. There was no way I was leaving them behind. I carried that bag of books everywhere with me for years adding to the collection when I could. Whew I tell ya that bag grew heavy. My motto became: No book shall be left behind.
Books got me through some bad periods in my life and there were a few. My collection grew to over 5,000 (I had to beg for help whenever I moved; there was a lot of moaning and groaning about how heavy my books were) until I discovered a new love: Kindle.
I wrote my first short story at age seven and proudly gave it to my teacher to read. She was scandalized by my story because it had a sex scene in it lol. It wasn't a good sex scene, I didn't understand the full concept of sex and I look back and laugh about it now and my poor teachers face lol lol. After her reaction, I switched to poetry for awhile but what I really wanted to do was write tantalizing romances and thrilling paranormal stories. I didn't, so for years, I was just a reader until now; discovering Wattpad was a dream come true. Check out my stories, I'm new at this and they are raw, but I know they will get better with time just like a good wine. Check out my stories: The Blind Female Alpha and Love Me Tender and remember to vote and comment!!
