          Backstory: Bae Tate (b. Nov 14, 2001) was born Serendipity Baye Tate at Pop’s before moving to Chicago after her father left. Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at ten, she rebelled against her parents’ control, excelling in Culinary Arts and SFX makeup. A hypoglycemic crash in 2017 triggered her Molecular Acceleration powers, sending her back to Riverdale. She became a Southside Serpent alongside her boyfriend, joined the Blue & Gold as Creative Director, and by Season 3 took over Pop’s, protecting it while balancing loyalty, love, and her abilities.

          The twist is that Jughead and the OC are already together from the very beginning of the show. They’re solid, loyal, and emotionally grounded—no will-they-won’t-they chaos, no cheating arcs. Just two people who choose each other while navigating Riverdale’s madness.
          
          I’d love to see a story that lets Jughead be understood and protected for once: his writing, his trauma, his sharp mind, and his quiet softness explored through a relationship that’s steady and real. The mystery, the darkness of Riverdale, and Jughead’s inner world can still be there—but the love is constant.
