Why Am I Writing My Autobiography?

I have been moving at a 100 mph, with my hair on fire, since I was 12 years old. I have always been a mover and a shaker and that hasn't changed now that I am in my 80's!

In 2012, I was faced with the reality of having both knees replaced and the recovery was estimated to be 10 - 12 months.
What was I going to do???
I decided to start writing My Life Story to occupy me during this recovery period.

Three (3) things happened....
1st - I write like I tell a story in person, so readers must get used to that style.
2nd - Surprisingly to me, I remember all the detailed for the past 80+ years.
3rd - I recovered 100% from knee surgery in six (6) months.

Since 1973 I have created, opened and operated eight (8) different company's in different types of businesses. I have found this keep my mind young and there is always an adventure and waits around the corner for my Wife (Lin) and I, who have been married for 58 years.

The first two (2) stories are a seven (7) year period in the Retail Jewelry Business. The second set of stories is over a fourteen (14) year period, about some of the over 500 Jewelry Shows, I managed and sold my jewelry line in all over the United States. I was on the road over 200 nights a year during that fourteen (14) year period.

You will notice that most of my writing is NOT edited. I decided after the 1st set of stories and up until now to continue writing and to edit at some point in the future since I found this keeps the flow of my stories in my head and I could write them down more accurately and quicker.
