Hello!! Nice to meet you, from here on a writing platform! I'm Maia (pronounced "my-a") :)

I'm someone who really likes writing, languages, translating, and music - and hopes to bring them all together somehow on here! :)

I really like learning languages; currently I am self-studying Korean, Chinese, and Thai (when I have time; by day I am a university student learning about planets and space 😃), but I currently know English (hello 🤪) and Japanese!

I also like:
- playing piano (no, I'm not a classical pianist at heart; kudos to those out there who are!! Mostly I play by ear because I listen to too much music that I start wanting to play them on the piano)
- drawing and writing (I'm @maiyuristayskies on TikTok and @quirkydoodler on Tumblr 😉)
- watching movies
- reading (that's why I'm here!)
- taking photos (candids, preferably, and nature ones)
