Mr. Pink’s Red Tailored Coat is a song I am writing about women who wish to be liberated out of the generational traps they are in. In particular having to balance the emotions and the connections of family circles / and or community relations. This dynamic keeps women trapped and often skews their view of other forms of love and connection/ puts women against one another. While it depicts man as this unfeeling rogue hunter archetype, this is not to say this is man as a whole rather an outdated view of what man used to represent. Although we can still see these male and female dynamics playout today and even within affluent families and communities, to which I find unsettling.

Hey , how's it going? Been busy writing ?

WinglessCreature

@MialHash Thank you. I am glad to hear that you are also in higher spirits. That is wonderful you found someone like that. Keep loving, keep shining dude!

@MialHash hey I'm so happy to hear that , it's good you're exploring yourself without worrying about the outcome. I have been feeling great lately , unfortunately I can only write good when I'm struggling emotionally. But Alhamdulillah I have found someone supportive and nurturing. Its funny how my past keeps trying to fk with my present , it's annoying that my past does still and forever will have power over my emotions, but my control and my will isn't influenced by that any longer. #FreeUs lol

@MialHash Hey Mial, things have been looking up i'd say. Yeah I have been doing plenty of writing. I also landed upon a mindset shift and have been trying to put myself out into the world again.

Been dreaming a lot lately without hanging on too tightly to the outcome. Allowing myself the freedom to experiment with my art again.

Also, I am over with simping or just putting everyone else above me. So I am taking my power back and becoming my own dream.

Aye! How are things with you? FYI– I have been reading your recent pieces, filled with such honesty and depth. Its touching, thank you for that.

Hello how are u? Just updated!

WinglessCreature

@Swanangel15 Yeah, the 3 layer thing is so true. Especially if it's windy or wet snowing. And that's great you can skate there too. I do prefer indoor rinks as well for better skating. I am not near any large frozen lakes so the ponds I go to are bumpy, uneven ice with random plants sticking out lol.

Minus 30? Wow that's freezing! When my dad studied in Canada even if u wear 3 layers u would still feel cold.

I also love ice skating! My parents have occasionally taken me and my bro, and with my cousin or friend and my friends brother for ice skating in malls!

@Swanangel15 Thanks and that's fun. Yeah it can get fairly cold -30 is the worst case usually. In recent years it has not been reaching such lows. In the day its often between -1 and -6. At night can be like -8 to -15. I adore the snow, but not as much when I don't dress for the weather. Skating is also one of my favourite winter activities. ❅

Hey , i noticed you took down the first chapters to your story, I wonder what happened, And what in the split personality disorder is going on here.. talking to thyself. (jokes) anyway , I saw your query about what makes me feel connection to desi's, well to be fair I dont feel it with all desis, theres good and bad everywhere alot of them are virtue signalling and judging in their own ways , anywho The food is the absolute best by far, nothing comes close , but what calls to me the most is the humility, innocense , modesty and the sweetness of the culture. It's beautiful.

MialHash

I feel you , till i turned 18 I thought everyone had heartburn after most meals , and acid reflux was a pretty common thing , When I actually moved to melbourne , tasted arab , ittalian and other asian cuisines, I realised desi's do go overboard on the spices. Not only that , I had glutton problem aswell, not eating because i was hungry but eating cuz it was fun...

@MialHash Oh yeah, makes sense. I do have to try more recipes. I like a variety of spice, I am a lightweight though. More spice has given me acid reflux in past. Where I am from we produce limited spices, I think that's why more traditional food is very plain here. I prefer Desi and Thai foods. >⩊<

@MialHash Okay real, I am really glad that I am not alone in my soliloquies. Also, it’s no invasion. I very much enjoy hearing from you and its great we both are able to share our work.

Hopefully no one I know irl is reading this account. I do have some sneaky friends though. Sometimes I write in a way that would make them confused/ peeved if they really were reading my journal. IK that’s bad, and really giving unhealed lol.
