Hey, I was wondering if you would be able to check out my book The Rockhounds. It’s not finished yet but I would love some feedback to improve my writing and just to know what you think!

Who else binge watched Light as a feather??
Thanks for following back :) :) ❤️❤️
I am so sorry I've been lacking on updating The Town & completing some of your reviews. I am currently going through a rough time (Living situation) and sadly my first priority is to get my shit together instead of writing all the time like I love to do. I will be writing a bit today and doing reviews here and there but If I go M.I.A for a while it's because I have no way of writing. Thank you all so much for the support!! ❤
@WintRose Take all the time you need to get everything in your life together. Be sure to prioritize yourself!
If I created a writing contest who would participate?

@WintRose the novel DRAGONKYN (about a boy who discovers he carries ancient, dragon, DNA) is available on amazon AND AUDIBLE! THE AUDIOBOOK IS DONE!!
Currently looking for an editor for my Horror/Fiction The Town. I was getting a lot of good feedback at first but since yesterday I've received complaints about some of my punctuation and the flow of the story. I am ongoing an only have about 10 chapters that are not too long, but I would really like honest opinions along with advice and editing. I will give full credit in my account Bio, book description, at the end of each chapter (With authors note) follow, and check out your books and leave comments as well. I want this to be a team effort. We can help each other out!
@WintRose @WintRose It's hard not to care. Sharing your writing is a scary thing, even if it's online to people you don't know. Our writing is so intensely personal, and it takes so much time, emotional and mental energy, and hard work to create. If there is anything particularly harsh, you can delete the comments if you want to on your own stories :) I have found that some reviewers are very direct and may not intend to be mean, and it can be hard to understand how a comment's meant when you don't get to see the person's face. And, of course, some people are just mean to be mean. They forget that there's a person with feelings behind the story. If you choose to keep the comments, take comfort in the fact that most of your readers will already have read the chapter before they see the comments. Most folks will be there for **your** words! All writers have room to improve, and you are here, sharing work from your heart with the world, asking for constructive advice in book clubs and from peers. It takes guts to do that! It's brave, and it can be so exhausting, so don't let it wear you down and take away your passion or the comfort and strength you get from the act of writing. Just be proud of everything you've accomplished and try to let the critical comments roll off your back. :) We got you girl! <3
@MinaParkes Thank you!! I usually don't care about what others say but honestly writing this story has been getting me through a very tough time in my life and it's honestly the only reason I'm revealing writing the story. I LOVE honesty and meaningful/helpful advice. I know my punctuation and grammar is a little off because although I graduated school was always a struggle for me, being raised in the foster system. I just got upset because I feel that the person deliberately tried to make me feel stupid and then basically told me that the rest of my story isn't worth reading and other people see those comments.
@WintRose What! I am so sorry to hear you were getting beaten down by strangers! Please don't let it get to you. The important parts of a story are your plot and your characters, which I think are very engaging. Mechanics? Yes, very important, but you can get help with those things, and over time you'll learn what your common mistakes are and how to avoid them. Professional writers pay people a lot of money to edit their books, so if you ever feel low about something as small as a comma, remind yourself of that. WP is a place to build each other up and enjoy stories together, not to tear one another down, and if anyone cannot balance a helpful critique with tact and kindness, they should save their opinions for themselves. ♥♥♥
