STORY TIME/EVENT OF THE DAY:
So, I'm in Italy at the moment and we were walking down a muddy path right next to a lake. There was this little bridge we have to cross, and when it was my turn to do that, there was a man with his dog coming from across me. Since I'm afraid of dogs I stepped aside hoping that the dog will pass and then I'd do just that peacefully. What happened though is that the dog hurried in my direction, so I took ONE step backwards and voila: I fell in the lake and the water reached the middle of my torso. My phone was in my raised hand when I fell, and my very first thought was saving my phone. So with the dog barking loudly and trying to come near me to help me up and the man staring at me with horror, I frantically waved my phone at him to take it. That was my first thought. Then, when the man and another one helped me up and people were all around me trying to calm me down, I opened my bag which had fallen in the water along myself, and checked the book I had on me. That was my second thought. Not my life, not my health, not the chance that I might have a broken limb or had cuts. My priorities were crystal clear: my phone and a book.
