can't wait to finish the next chapter bc im really enjoying writing it!!! Here's a snippet:
"What I meant was," he stopped and looked Harry in the eye, "you've been extremely quiet and closed, and I suppose I just wanted to remind you that though Sirius -" he patted the dogs head, "is your Godfather, I am, or was - your parents used to refer to me as - Uncle Moony. Remus." He shook his head and broke eye contact. "Not just Professor Lupin."
And here, Harry did something totally out of character. Something else he had been drilled into thinking was wrong. He hugged him. He took a single step forward hesitantly before running into the weary man's arms. In these past two days he had been hugged more than he could ever remember, and he knew it was a memory thing as in Remus' arms he hoped it had been a frequent occurrence as a baby. Remus stumbled back, surprised.
