I just finished reading The best of her and I can't get over how wholesome Mavis and June's love is - it's so real, and I say that in utter deadpan. I have not, for a while read good Watty books, especially the High School/College slice of life romances. I mostly focused on the Werewolf lore ones where they are mated and to Alpha's or High ranking wolves or Supernatural creatures in general. But you know how irrational Alphas can get, with their possessiveness and overwhelming rage. I was pleasantly surprised by this book as it has been a very long while, I think since I joined Wattpad - maybe in 2016 - that I've read a book so down to earth, so realistic, so relatable and real to the point that I am aching for more. I also can't get over how amazing this book is. This book was so exquisite. I loved this book from beginning to end. It was a wild ride but they made it the end. Plus to me Mavis is so relatable, because although I'm not on the Autism spectrum or have ADHD, I can connect with the overanalyzing, overwhelming and overthinking that she does because there are lots of times I feel that way. I also think that people really really really need to get to see the groove of how important mental health is. So in summary, I cannot thank you enough for allowing me to read this book - I loved every damb second of it. You're an amazing writer and I can't wait to see more of your work.
P.S. The guys in this generation and the ones on the way need to get with June's program. The people pleasing wasn't a good example, but everything else about him is a replica of what a man should be or strive for if he isn't yet (to any guys on Watty).
