Somebody asked me this on Tumblr; I thought I would tell you too!
          
          My username "Wistaraa" combines two words: 
          
          1) Wistful: (adj) having or showing a feeling of vague or regretful longing. 
          
          2) Sitara: which is a Sanskrit and Hindi word for Star 
          
          The username combines my love for celestial bodies and the feeling I want to evoke through my writing. 
          
          It is also a wordplay with another Sankrit/Hindi word, "Vistaar" (विस्तार), which literally translates to "Expanse", but can also mean "Limitless". 
          
          So how to pronounce my name? For my Sanskrit- or Hindi-speaking people, it is: विस्तारा. 
          
          And for the people who don't speak Sanskrit or Hindi, it is pronounced (in phonetic English): vee-stah-ruh
          
          (I added an extra 'a' at the end (just on Wattpad) because 'Wistara' was not available lol!)

@writteninsitara I do wish to participate in the Ambys, but I keep over thinking and over editing the poems. And since the majority of poems (in the collection) are either social commentary or refer to the current world politics in one way or another I don't want to rush it! Probably will post them sometime this week, though!

I'm not sure what this is. Maybe that's probably the point.
          A thought, a character, a scene that refused to leave me alone until I gave it somewhere to exist.
          So here it is.
          No grand plan. No promises. Just a little experiment.
          Maybe I'll come back to it. Maybe I won't.
          Either way, I'm glad it exists.
