Now, I just thought of a story idea I wish to share with you all so you can have some inspiration. Like in this story, The Other Mother from Coraline had a Son, An actual son with the same powers as hers.
And in the story, The reader will move into the Pink Palace alone, While her criminal mom was out into the world doing nothing but bad things and thievery with her partner in crime, giving nothing but trouble for the reader, giving sacks of money she never asked or wanted from her robberies, and even abuse her daughter to obey.
That was until the Other Mother and her son, The one the Reader gave his name Darien, Came into her life, and made her life feel much better.
And they actually see the reader as a precious gift from above that didn't deserve an ungrateful mom like the Reader's, and should be protected.
Though their time together was sweet, The reader could not shake this magical & disturbing feeling the Other Mother and Darien needed her help. Not just saving their dying lives, But find a way to set them free from their prison they called the Other world their home.
For the reader's heart could not fathom the thought of losing the two who meant the world to her, and how truthfully caring, understanding, and loving they've become to her.
What do you think? Will the Reader find a way to save them, and escape her torture with her mom and her partner? (She didn't care about the Reader's deceased father since she was born anymore.) Will the Reader be free with Damien by her side? Will Damien and the Other Mother have their freedom?
