This book is about a young girl who falls in love with the lead singer of her favourite band.  When she hears something that makes her think the singer is in a relationship, she kills herself.  

Some time later the girl wakes up in Heaven and is given a choice by a guardian angel.  She can either forget about the life she led on Earth and step forward into the light of eternity, or return to Earth to try and make things right with her friends and family before she must move on.

The girl chooses to return to Earth, where she gets a big shock.  The singer is indeed in a relationship, but it is with her former best friend on Earth.  Driven to distraction from a terrible sense of jealousy, the "ghost" girl begins to wreak havoc for the singer and his new girlfriend, but when the girl suffers a devastating miscarriage, the "ghost" girl begins to realise just what she has done.

Can she help to repair her former best friend's doomed relationship before it is too late?
