Hey, I *probably* don’t need to ask, but I thought I’d go ahead and be polite, so I’d like to do a BMC oneshot book of the Squip Squad as supernatural beings. Obviously you don’t, like, OWN that idea, but because I’ve been very active in the comments on yours, I see how it might look a little shady if I suddenly started writing fantasy AUs. 
          
          I’d be giving them different species than the ones you assigned them, obviously, and definitely wouldn’t copy any of your stories. I just wanted to ask if you’d be alright with it. I would 100 percent understand if you don’t want me to do this and I really respect your writing, so if it does bother you I won’t publish anything. 
          
          I’m not trying to, like, make it seem like I’m ripping off your writing. I also don’t want you to feel like you HAVE to say yes, I don’t want to be begging permission or trying to guilt you into it by acting super nice. Just trying to be kind and show some manners.
