Well it’s official, direct messages are gone. There goes a conversation with a friend on here that had been going on for a good while.
          	
          	Can’t say I’m surprised that Wattpad has taken away yet another feature from their app though. For those of you who were around for that one Wattpad feature that showed if someone was active or not you know what I’m talking about.
          	
          	I just feel like this was a bad choice on Wattpad’s part. The DMs were fine, a little glitchy and weird at times, but fine. Personally what I think they SHOULD be working on is ways for someone to gain access back into an account that they’ve forgotten both the password and the email for. Cause remember ages ago when they made us log out and change our passwords and stuff because of reasons (I forget why)? Well they did that and ever since then I haven’t been able to get into my alt acc @KawaiiQueenEve. And their support thing is no help, I’m almost positive it’s just robot generated answers for everything and not real people. But I digress.
          	
          	All in all I’m not sure how I feel about this place anymore. It was great in the beginning and now it’s just meh.

Anybody else just notice that now direct messages will be gone come the 6th? Cause I did, it’s been like a hot minute since I’ve been back on here. But that’s annoying to say the least. I mean, what if someone wants to collab on a fic with someone? How are they supposed to privately talk about their ideas now? Comments aren’t very secure ya know.

@Darklight-Ruby yeah and to deprive us of that is wrong. I mean this place used to be the best, both for writing and just for generally talking to people. But now things have just gone downhill and this is just another useless change which in my opinion feels a bit alienating as well as just a terrible idea in general. After all not everyone likes to comment on the fics they read or communicate via author profiles/updates, I know I don’t.

@WolfiePyxie Exactly! It’s a very unacceptable excuse! There’s something called privacy and sometimes we have private conversations with these people! The conversations sections is meant for public not something private! Plus we have lives of our own, so we’re not texting  24/7!

@Darklight-Ruby exactly! I mean the direct messages were just a good thing to have in general. It made it easy to have conversations with people where you could talk about anything and everything, it didn’t have to just be related to whatever fic you were commenting on. And their excuse for taking it away is that only a small percentage of the users on here were using direct messages. Which I don’t think is reason enough to take it away from everyone in my opinion.

This is for all of you who have been commenting on my book Connection looking for an update.
          
          While I am happy to hear that so many of you still like the fic, I just haven’t been feeling it when it comes to updating that particular one. At first I considered rewriting the story as I didn’t feel like it was my best work but I never got around to that. Recently I have been working on a few projects that have really gotten me back into wanting to write again. So perhaps soon I will have something new to put out. In the meantime please be patient with me.

@WolfiePyxie I know the feeling, it’s hard to sometimes keep writing when you have lots of things going on. I too write books and yet I haven’t finished them because of schoolwork and other things going on. Take as much time as you need and don’t worry about it.

Hey, uh, is anyone still active on here in the RP world? Been kinda noticing that it's starting to dwindle a bit, which is kinda upsetting cause I enjoy Rping on here whenever I can. Yeah I haven't really been all that active for like a hot minute, but that's for personal irl reasons. Slowly but surely I am working my way back to being on here though.

@WolfiePyxie I know I’ve followed you for a hot minute but I don’t think I’ve ever role played with you. I roleplay all the time big really only get like 3 responses out a day max because life but I’m always down to rp.

I got a bunch of manga books from one of my mom’s co-workers cause she had doubles. I just finished book 1 of Tokyo Ghoul and am going to start book 2. Have any of you either read the manga or seen the anime? No spoilers please, I just want to know your thoughts on either of those. And if whether or not the anime is worth watching alongside reading the manga.

I have seen the anima but I haven’t readied the manga the anima is personally one of my all time favorite
