@hcb2004 @Turtleboii9 make no mistake, I’m not targeting those that work (often, as you say, unwillingly) for oil industries (yes, particularly in Texas). I am attacking the congressmen who support oil/coal/natural gas companies over the imminent threat of climate change in the name of the economy— 99% of the time they are from the, as I said, from the Deep South (Louisiana, Alabama, Florida) and only speak up for these industries because they have hands in them. They are big businesses that generate lots of revenue, and these men choose money over the actual, literal earth. It’s never portrayed this way in the media, but we are absolutely running out of time to act upon climate change before it is irreversible and the planet is doomed. This isn’t something to be solved over generations, it is a problem for right now, and these men (again, the congressmen, who only advocate for their own gain) are denying that. It is the lives of me and my peers that are jeopardized by these choices and I am rightfully angry.
