Ok, I think it's very important to make this very clear.
Roleplaying entails taking the role of a character upon yourself, becoming the character for a short amount of time.
I know I've been away for a while, and shouldn't suddenly expect everyone to drop everything, and I've been away doing serious roleplays, so I shouldn't come back expecting everyone to be as devoted as I am.
But seriously, if you want to Rp, show that you do. An RP isn't something that can be fulfilled with One-sentence messages, or single verb descriptions. Saying "My character ate the mushroom" and then doing nothing else does nothing for the RP, it doesn't contribute to the RP, and it doesn't say anything about the character or give anything for the other players to act off of.
"My character ate the mushroom. At first he/she was indesicive whether they wanted to eat it, but after giving your character a glance, they decided to do so. After the mushroom had been completely eaten, my character once again looked at yours"
There, quality roleplay.
Don't expect you to write stuff completely up to that, but I will stop the Rp if all you are saying is "my character ate the mushroom" "my character took a step forward" "my character threw a pebble in the opposite direction of your character"
Y'feel?
