Since Deus Dydimus is my primary writing project, it is time for me to announce a pseudo-hiatus. I'm not going to stop writing, but since I have exams every three weeks, and a mountain of assignments each week, I cannot commit to a publishing schedule. Throughout the hiatus, I'll continue working on stories such as Noona, Deus Dydimus, and another upcoming project; as for how long it'll be, my safest estimate will be till the middle of December.

The most recent one-shot was a test that told me that a majority of my readers prefer the standard stories, so I might experiment with periodic one-shot uploads. If I do well enough, I might create another 'Noona-like' series. As for an update on Noona, I have written a majority of it. After editing and revising it myself, and passing it on to Kafu, I will then begin publishing it on a weekly basis. I apologize for the inconvenience and hope you will continue to support my content.

Following the end of this arc, I'm going to take a short break from writing Deus Dydimus' story to make sure I have everything sorted out for this next arc. It will be a mini-break as I'm not going to stop updating Rend; instead, I will take the time to fill the final 21 chapters allowed in the book with side stories that are cannon to the book. This can be a specific character's backstory, content to fill in gaps in the story, or others.

Regarding the sudden burst of content: College has taken up most of our time. Learning a new language and studying multiple sciences often requires me to study well over 50 hours a week; Kafu has his own workload. I apologize for not keeping my usual schedule. I cannot guarantee that my upload speed will stay consistent. But, I will try my best to ensure I at least publish something once biweekly--whether it be DD, the Tuesday slot, or a one-shot.

However, I bring good news. I am working on the epilogue of Recovery. I want to make sure it's meaningful since Recovery is my second most popular book. After Recovery, I intend write "Noona", but I don't have an ETA for that. For those following the connections between my books, you might correctly predict it'll follow Gaeul following her move to start a new life.

For the Deus Dydimus readers, I raise the question: would you rather I release two chapters per upload? Or should I upload one a week to increase the chances of consistent updates? Alternatively, I could update whatever I have finished whenever Saturday/Sunday comes around.
Additionally, if you would like to be a part of the story, feel free to reach out to me and we can discuss it. The information I can give is limited due to spoilers, but we can create a character to add to the many fan-made characters. (Ex. John, Jesse, Maxwell, Tatsuo, Riwon, etc.)

In the future, I'd like to write a Yunjin book--and or write the second season to SH--but that'll depend on how things work out. The other books I've proposed also have to wait on the backburner since I don't have the same zeal to write +12k words a week like I used to.

Zephyr Academy readers, you have to bug Kafu. He has 3 chapters finished, but his plans on when to release them are unclear.

Lastly, I would like to thank all of you for reading my stories. At some point, I'll revisit them and update them with my current writing style, but that might take a long time.

@WonTomi8 For DD better one a week to keep the reader engaged also don't drown yourself juggling between fic and college life, let it burn slowly, and steady college life will drain you faster, so usually keep it up nice and steady
ZA is just a side project keep it nice and intact from time to time
Tied remaster should be run when the time is right
Epilogue for recovery just upload it at the same time as Noona book
            it is my opinion.
Keep up the great work, also take care of your mental health and body health

Yo dope asf ideas. As a fellow college student I feel you and that's why I stopped writing but the fact you keep writing these in college, I'm very impressed. Me personally for DD I prefer upload whenever you can just one chapter but I do enjoy the double updates. Whatever is more constable for you would be my suggestion. Keep up the great work I love reading all your stories in my free time

Regarding Tied, Kafu and I have been talking about it. We are thinking about overhauling it to give it the ending it deserves instead of keeping it as the story I experiment with. The problem I ran into was that Tied tied heavily into real world events, and the hiccups began to roll around when I had "caught up" to the real world. But, that should eventually be fixed and a lot of the 'weirder' plot points and sub plots should be cut out in the final version. As of right now, it'll probably take the form of Tied: Remastered being continued and finished.

I made quick revisions to the end of Deus Didymus: Rend Pt2Ch12: Breakdown. After reading the comments and a question about it, I realized that the events at the end of the chapter were not as clear as I intended. I added a few paragraphs to clear up the scene, and apologize for any confusion caused by it.

IZ*ONE, and Kep1er are the major groups, but (G)-IDLE, Dreamcatcher, Stray Kids, TWICE and many others make appearances here and there. Since there are inconsistencies between characters and their real world counterparts, i.e age, personality, etc. you can get away without knowing the idols and their groups.

If you like Deus Dydimus, you might also like Kafu’s Zephyr Academy. That books takes idols born between 2004 and 2001 and slots them in.
