Why does your novel is written by AI than actual person? Its just the novel feels off, of how it just skip something by using only few words or something that should have describe in a great detail and easy to understand had somehow being compress into few confusing words like "Road"s too narrow for a reason."Dont trust what's off it. I think it should be something like this " The road had being narrowed by someone or some other reasons, don't trust something that feels off.
