Self-harm is a serious and damaging form of coping. Cutting is not the only form of self-harm and is not the 'worse' form either. There are other ways to cope. Calm Harm is a free app that helps you resist and manage your urges to self-harm. It provides you with physical activities that stimulate the section of the brain that self-harm usually stimulates. Give it a try or tell your loved one.
