I just binge read "dancing with Katanas" last night. Great story! I couldn't put it down. You nailed the characters. I really look forward to another chapter. I hope it cones soon. Keep up the great writing!

@Binazirazimzadeh - i do have some fun ideas that reference more of their “turtle” side, like how their body temps tend to be cooler and why they may like snuggling with the reader because of her body heat. I do like the idea of “churring” but more along the lines of how a cat purrs when its happy or satisfied with something, not necessarily for “mating season”. Alsooooo, lol, I don't really have a “mating season” for the turtles, but the book is rated “mature” because there is an intimate scene that happens much much later in the story.

@WoolyMammoth58 aaaand would you make deferencein them as how much they act as turtles like their pupils get slit when they kind of Go feral when fighting? Or their sense of smell is higher or making any turtle sounds like churring or growling or mating season. In some of your chapters I get I hint but im not sue could you Clearfy it?.

Soooo, I have Covid, and this is the first time I’ve ever lost my sense of smell…
I’m so weirded out right now. Try explaining to your brain that you’re snorting BBQ sauce when there is nothing registering that you’re smelling anything at all.

Do make sure to eat! My friend had Covid, he couldnt smell or taste anything and didnt like eating which made him weak.

So... lets add to my awkward encounters, shall we?
I ordered a late night snack last night, and the guy who delivered it got out of his car with his arms spread wide. For some reason I thought he was coming in for a hug. I was like, wow SUPER friendly customer service. I'm down! Bring it in buddy! - so in turn I started to open my arms to go in for the hug, and discovered NOPE, he just carries food awkwardly.
Not me trying to deflect the weird hug stance I have and turn it into a "I'm just happy to see you and my food" moment.

Also, the fight scenes - like, your line could be “AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH” for like 5 episodes while you try and power up to defeat an enemy that is shockingly just standing there watching it all unfold with a massive smirk, only to have by episode 6 suddenly realize they are in big trouble.
