          Will Solace, Cecil Markowitz, and Lou Ellen Blackstone are beginning the third season of their podcast, ‘If You DARE…’. After investigating the mysterious disappearance and alleged reappearance of Thalia Grace in their first season, and the kidnapping of Perseus Jackson for season two, now they’re taking on their biggest mystery yet: The Infamous Seven. 
          
          Will would have never guessed where his life would lead him—running a true crime podcast with his two closest friends certainly wasn’t on his list. But when their investigations pull Will and his friends into a mystery of their own, his whole world turns upside-down. 
          
          Meanwhile, Nico slipped through the cracks after the war against Gaea, drawn to an isolated life in the mortal world with only limited contact with his demigod acquaintances.           Summary: Will is a reasonable guy, an upstanding citizen, if you were to ask him, who has endless patience for the sheer volume of idiots he treats in the infirmary every—gods-damn—day. All that to say, it takes a lot to really get to him.
          Afonso gets to Will. Irks him, you might say.
          Afonso, the skull from some Bone Chapel in Portugal that Hades decided to gift to Nico and who has now taken up residence in the closet of the Hades Cabin. Will hates Afonso with a passion, and after a very frustrating week, he decides to take a stand.

Hey, fellow violinist! i wanna thank you! 
           i started composing when i was 15, 2 years ago, but up until now, I've only made instrumentals and epic soundtracks. i really wanted to write a song with like,.... actual words in it. there was a set of lyrics i wrote a few weeks back at 2 am, sleep deprived, quesitonable writing which i almost swore i'd never look at a again. then i came across ur fic, dolce dissonance. reading the characters growing through their music and just having fun writing songs, it gave me the motivation i needed to open that book again. and doing so i realized that the nonsense i wrote can actually be turned into something that isn't half bad. and the melody and the instrumentals of it was made while reading ur fic! now the song is finally complete. while it isnt the best, this was a huge personal step for me, moving from notes and instruments to actual WORDS and sentences. to express myself not just through the melodies, but actually spelling myself out for people to hear. now that that first song is done, now i'm more at ease and feel more motivated and want to make more. better songs. not just OSTs. 
          ur fic played a huge part in it, giving me the push i needed to look at my questionable lyrics again lol.
