Hey, fellow violinist! i wanna thank you!
i started composing when i was 15, 2 years ago, but up until now, I've only made instrumentals and epic soundtracks. i really wanted to write a song with like,.... actual words in it. there was a set of lyrics i wrote a few weeks back at 2 am, sleep deprived, quesitonable writing which i almost swore i'd never look at a again. then i came across ur fic, dolce dissonance. reading the characters growing through their music and just having fun writing songs, it gave me the motivation i needed to open that book again. and doing so i realized that the nonsense i wrote can actually be turned into something that isn't half bad. and the melody and the instrumentals of it was made while reading ur fic! now the song is finally complete. while it isnt the best, this was a huge personal step for me, moving from notes and instruments to actual WORDS and sentences. to express myself not just through the melodies, but actually spelling myself out for people to hear. now that that first song is done, now i'm more at ease and feel more motivated and want to make more. better songs. not just OSTs.
ur fic played a huge part in it, giving me the push i needed to look at my questionable lyrics again lol.

I found your Ao3 and… woah!!!!! How are you so good at writing, this is poetry and it is so gorgeous.
Your stories are addictive and I cannot get enough!! Pray tell, what are your secrets?? It’s almost as if you have been gifted some magic that enhances your abilities because this is truly magical in the most perfect way. If so, how can I gain this magic spell because I want to be able to write as beautifully as you.
I am just taken aback and not sure what to say, your ability to spin the most intricate tales i have ever layed eyes on will never cease to amaze me! Do you think you’ll publish your own book, because I really, really love your work?

@WordsOfASarcast 4) The fact you have thanked me for reading your masterpiece only shows what an amazing and kind person you are. I should be on my kneels bowing to such genius who had the mentality not only to create a whole nother UNIVERSE for beautiful characters, but you actually make us feel things. Your stories are heart wrenching in all the right ways. 5) YOU HAVE MADE MY WHOLE LIFE!! No comment. 6) favourite??? How am I meant to choose??? Honestly I can’t decide, Misery loves company is so precious and absolutely heart breaking, Dolce is a roller coaster that leaves you breathless, stars hide your fire not only has Percy Jackson but maze runner too which is beyond me. Not to mention all your Ao3s that I have to get around to reading!!!! I have to say that Dolce took me for the ride of a lifetime, even though it’s not finished the whole story was just unbelievable and if I have to spend an eternity wishing it were true so be it. Dolce Dissonance is just a work of art and I can’t wait to see what you’re gonna carve from the ruins of our broken dreams next. Sorry for the rant!! @WordsOfASarcast 1) I am disappointed to hear that you don’t have a magic potion and that someone can actually be this talented without Hermione Granger helping them in the back ground. This means that I actually have to work to get to the level youre on and as a proud procrastinator reaching “golden author” level seems impossible. So I’ll probably stick to reading. However, youre right in the sense that everyone has a little magic when they put their own to paper or fingers to keys or whatever you people do. And with that comes the other magic which comes from watching the worlds authors like you create! 2) i dont believe I will stick to your magic though, I have the obsession down packed but am a big flop when it comes with feral outlining. I dislike time tables and planning anything so there goes that dream, on the topic of dreams I quite enjoy mine so I won’t be pulling all nighters. I guess thats author commitment and honestly if I had just an ounce of your passion or talent maybe I could say no to my over sleeping for once in a while and actually get organised. But I don’t sense that in my foreseeable future. 3) the fact that you are considering publishing leaves me flabbergasted. Go. For. It. You have all the talent and you have all the Wattpadians behind you, so go chase that if thats what you want. You deserve to have your name on a front cover and your journey has only just begun. I think that when you’re ready the world is waiting and we are really excited about what you’re gonna do next!! …

@kotlcismyfav So, fun fact: Dolce in Italian means 'Sweet' and Dissonance is a musical term meaning "lack of harmony among musical notes" which can also be used to describe a "lack of agreement/harmony between people." It's basically referencing Nico and Will's rivalry at the start of the fic turning into something sweeter! Ooh, so 'stars, hide your fires.' is next, I hope you like it <3

ans also, yes it makes sense, song writing and poetry are like... completely different... i know that because i tried to add a melody to a POEM once, didnt really fit
@sadewmiinjtw I submitted many instrumental compositions for music classes all through high school. But I really haven't done anything since I graduated, and I would guess that the skill has probably faded a lot. And despite writing a ton of poetry, I was never very good at song writing, if that makes sense lol. I'm assuming you compose?
Do you happen to have any idea when you might update [stars, hide your fires]? Not that I'm trying to rush you, I'm just wondering if you happen to have any sort of update schedule. And this is for either AO3 or Wattpad. Your writing is amazing!

@brighttulip68 Okay, so I don't have a official schedule right now but this is what this month is looking like for all my current fics (obviously subject to change though): the last 9 chapters of Dolce Dissonance by the 21st (wish me luck lol) an ao3 exclusive one-shot *hopefully* released on the 21st also (for my one year fic-writing anniversary) ⭐ Stars, hide your fires chapter on the 30th or early May. (ideally earlier but I'm not optimistic sorry!) Misery Loves Company, we will see if I can get something out during May (thank you guys for being so amazingly patient while I finish writing Dolce <3 ) thank you!!!! I'm so glad you're enjoying Stars, I love writing it so much <3 <3 <3

@prettiestpivvo hii! I'm sorry to hear that you're lacking motivation right now that's the worst feeling, and I'll be honest, I don't have a magical list of tips or a cure-all. The best I can offer is you should try to understand the source of your lack of motivation... Is it that you lack the energy? (Just write a sentence everyday, one sentence is still progress. It creates a habit. Maybe work towards 750words a day - that's three pages!) Are you uninspired by your current wip? (Don't push yourself, change gears, write something new you can always come back to it. I always have multiple stories on the go lol) No writing ideas? (Take inspiration - I personally find most of my inspiration in lyrics or quotes from poems/classics, but you could also find it in places, people, things you've read recently, etc). Got stuck? No direction? (Write something new for a while/make a different writing choice) Not good enough? (Most people lack the gift to write anything worthwhile on their first try. I feel the urge to write, so I write, then I worry about whether it's any good. But you can't fix/improve what doesn't exist) Of course this is all very generalised advice, and I don't know how much help it'll be but I do hope it helps somewhat. <3
