Since you're a master at writing different povs... I've always planned to do that in later chapters, is it hard getting in the head of your other characters? Because I don't even know how to beginnn to approach that lol

@WorkingPen it honestly depends on the mood of the chapter, I try to get in that head space and imagine myself in that specific situation if I were that specific character. Mostly sombre tunes, lately, it's been Taylor Swift. I used to listen to her sad songs whenever I was in my feels in high school(cliche I know) so when I listen to her now, it puts me in this weird nostalgic grieving mood. Oh, and Harry Styles' Fine Line(the song but the album is also really great). There's also this artist called Shaya Zamora. Some of his songs are great. Other than that, I like older songs more than recent ones but I don't really have a specific type

@WorkingPen I appreciate the essay immensely lol, thank you for the tips! I found that music helps me a lot actually. And you're right about the hardest part being the beginning. You have to know your chatacter extremely well to write in their pov I feel like. And I guess it's inevitable to have his pov right? I'm still working out when exactly I'll introduce the inner workings of his brain to you guys. We'll see, but I lowkey can't wait

Woah, we're 30 chapters in... Somehow.
When I started My Mate To Be, I estimated that it would be around 22 chapters but here we are at 30 and it's still ongoing.
This is probably the most fun I've had writing and it's thanks to my readers/supporters. You guys are literally the best.
Sucks that uni is gonna come and suck the life out of me.
