Nobody knows me as a person,
Yet they judge me with eyes so certain,
Assuming my story without a clue,
Painting a picture that isn't true.

They see me in a momentary glance,
But miss the nuances of life's dance,
The struggles and joys that make me whole,
And the stories that have shaped my soul.

They judge me by the clothes I wear,
The color of my skin, or the style of my hair,
And miss the depth of my character within,
The kindness, compassion, and strength therein.

But I won't let their judgment bring me down,
I'll stand tall and wear my crown,
For I know who I am and what I can be,
And that's all that matters truly to me.

So let them judge and cast their stones,
For I know I am more than flesh and bones,
And as I move forward with each passing day,
I'll prove them wrong in every way.
