I love writing my own books and novels, but I often struggle to finish them.  I find inspiration in other books and movies, which sometimes leads my writing to resemble the original works too closely.  As a result, my stories tend to stay on my desktop, where they might be edited, expanded, or read, but never completed.  I really want the world to experience my writing, but I'm concerned about how to publish it without risking legal issues with the original authors or filmmakers.  Discovering WattPad was a game-changer for me because it allows me to share my fan fiction stories and creative interpretations without the worry of being sued.
