Hello.
I have trouble finishing stories I write.
I always have ideas I get real hyped about and then start writing and can't quite put in on paper..
Or I'll write the idea but then run out of anything to add to it to keep it going.
Do you have any advice on how to keep fueling the fire of writing?
          Thank you~7275lula

Hello! What a brilliant idea!

          I have a question.

I have my first book (just recently completed) and that was what gained me a small following.

Now I'm working on 2 other stories....
1 where the main character becomes concious of the author and interacts with her - then takes a dark supernatural twist. It has it's own small following, too.

Then, I'm working on a romance/chick lit story with very sexual overtones.
It has 1 read so far.
Not a misprint, a singular read.

Short of begging, how do you get people to cross over??

@moonlight_Delight No begging needed. If they want it, they will come :)

@druidrose thank you! It's the begging I'm trying to avoid, though.

@moonlight_Delight Honestly, I feel if you have a fanbase who likes your writing for what it's worth, they'll follow. Not every genre is for everyone, but sometimes there are definitely those who read for the craft, rather than the content- if that makes sense. The upside is though you may have known readers on one story, you never know the new readers you can get on another. All you can do it just make sure people know of your other stories and if they're interested, they will be there. Short of begging ;)
