helllooo everyone!! sorry for the long break, i was going through a breakup which always sucks, and my college had welcome week so ive been outside every day for the past week with my friends, so i didnt have much time at all to do any writing :(, howeverrrrr, new chapters will be dropped soon!

hi guys!! i just wanted to come on here and explain why i unpublished If Only, because i know some of you might be wondering where it went.
          
          honestly, i just completely fell out of love with the way i wrote the story. the more i looked back at it, the more i felt like it wasn’t really the story i wanted it to be, and i found myself not enjoying writing it anymore. i would stay up all night writing chapters half asleep so you guys had chapters to read, find myself re-editing chapters multiple times a day because me and writing half asleep don’t mix, and eventually ended up burnt out from it, which is entirely my fault. 
          
          i don’t want to keep a story up just for the sake of having it there when i know i’m not happy with it.
          
          that being said, i do still love If Only, i truly do love Alessia and her love story with Mattheo, and i don’t want to abandon it forever. once i finish Wicked Games, i completely want to come back to it and rewrite it so i can make it into the story i know you all will love. 
          
          i decided to unpublish it for now mostly because i don’t want anyone finding it, getting excited about it, and waiting for updates when i know there won’t be any for a bit. i’d rather take it down for now and bring it back when i’m actually ready to give it the time and effort it deserves.
          
          thank you to everyone who read If Only, supported it, or even just added it to your library. it genuinely means so much to me, and i hope you’ll stick around for the rewrite or even go read Wicked Games, which i hope you all love as much as i do ❤️
