I like writing stories that have both beauty and grit. While there's always something sweet and peaceful--maybe a little melancholic--there's always something darker being hidden. And of course, it's not hidden for long. But I'd love to actually *finish* a story. You'd think that'd be a requirement for writing any story, that it has to be finished. I'm working on it.

Music is my muse: The Xx, Lana Del Ray, Florence and the Machine, Lykke Li, Yanni, Crystal Castles, Debussy, and any classical/contemporary pianist or composer. My writing usually goes well with their type of music. Ironically my iPod's filled with the likes of Britney Spears and Rihanna. Variety is the breath of life ;)
