Okay, I did it! I just posted the last chapter of my ONC story Multitude Adjustment plus an author's note. I marked it complete and I submitted it for round 3. Good luck to everyone participating this year. Get those stories done and submitted and may the judges look kindly upon your works!

Just posted chapter 13 of my ONC story Multitude Adjustment. I'm cutting things close to the deadline here, but I'm pretty much right at the 20,000 word count as of this chapter and it looks like I should be wrapping everything up in the next chapter. I think I'm going to go work on that right now.

@wdhenning I've always felt that deadlines are actually good for me. Yes, they can raise the stress level, but they help me to stop procrastinating and get things done!

Okay, I managed to get another chapter posted on my ONC story Multitude Adjustment. I'm pretty sure I can see the path to the end, now I just have to make sure I can get there with the proper word count. I passed 15,000 words, so a little under 5000 to go. It seems doable.

I got chapter 8 posted of my ONC story Multitude Adjustment. This is where I start to feel the heat of the deadline, and of course things have been busy and I feel a little behind. Having qualified for round three and being named a round one winner I feel like I've got to do my best to get this thing across the finish line. I've crossed the halfway point on the word count with this chapter, so I'm going to try to knuckle down and see if I can get some good work done over the next few days.

Just logged on to see several congratulatory messages in my notifications. I wasn't sure at first what I was being congratulated on, but I've come to learn my ONC story Multitude Adjustment was apparently chosen as one of the Round One winners. I don't know what that means exactly, but I'll take it. This is my 6th time participating in ONC and I've never been a winner in any round before, so that's pretty neat. I guess this means I'd better keep working on this thing.
