What is this my new friend, I asked. Eyes? Hands? Limbs?
A body, you said.
An existence at last, I said. How nicely.
But you, my friend, seemed worried: Aren't you sad, you lost your home in the stars, you asked me. Sad that you won't be able to wander between worlds and times anymore. To see the unseen, hear the unheard, find the lost ones and feel the gone?
I was confused.
No, I replied. Why should I? The stars are no longer above me, they shine in me now. I close these eyes and see them all, I visit my worlds whenever I want to, I see the unseen clearer than ever, I hear the unheard long before they speak, I became a home for the lost and a shelter for the gone ones.
And best of all, I can share that now. With you.
