I need someone to write a screenplay of the classic High school trope where "all the different stereotypes have to work together to solve a big mystery" - except it's all accurate to actual public school.
The "Nerd" is just somebody who actually pays attention in class; no quantum physics or rocket science, just basic Trig or something;
("How the F*CK did you know that??"
"we went over it LAST WEEK! We're in the SAME CLASS DUDE." )
The "Jock" is just somebody who really likes sports - an actually decent dude who may only pay attention enough to not fail a class, and isn't spectacular academic wise, but he still knows his stuff.
("You're surprisingly nice for being a football player"
"What you expected me to be mean just because I like balls?")
The "Mean Cheerleader" is actually a really sweet girl- in a long term, committed relationship with a normal dude (not a football player) and donates to charities and stuff- not just a ditzy blonde or Regina George wannabe
("You could be, like, a model or something."
"Thanks..? I guess? I'm actually thinking of working in a nursing home, like my mom.")
((The more I add to this, the more I realize this is just Scooby Doo))
The actual Bully doesn't dump food on people, or give wedgies- they just make passive aggressive comments and sideeyes everyone frequently in a judgey way. (Bonus points if they come to realize the people they judge are actually pretty cool and end up being friends with some of them)
("I actually really like ___!"
"Oh! That's definitely.. A choice..")
There are so many more, too - I'm sick of basic stereotypes, give me ACTUAL slice of life bs
