What's up?
          
          Nothing too much to say here, but I have finished the storyboarding that I needed to do for now, and will work on the Intermission chapter soon, followed by Chapter 3.
          
          In the meantime, however, I am working on a new pilot chapter to a new book that will take place hundreds of years after Superstar Mania. I can't say too much as everything is still in storyboarding process, but there's now a third story to look forward to as I work on the first two.
          
          Speaking of the other story, I know I haven't updated "The One Left Behind" in a while. And I will be returning to that story soon. There's a lot of storyboarding work to be done with that book, and I may update its pilot chapter again.

          Alright, so after an entire day of having the poll up, moved, then set up again, it would seem that y'all wanted new Xander cast for Superstar Mania. So, that's what I'll do. Even though the vote was slightly cheated, she was winning anyway, and since she did end up winning anyway, that's what we'll do.
          
          This means that the next intermission/Chapter 3 will take longer to get started on, however, you can expect to see the other chapters updated soon. I'll drop links when each chapter is done. Stay in touch!

          So just this morning, I set up a poll in the Discord server on which Xander you want to see for the rest of Superstar Mania. My artist, Forg0ttenMemory and I have been discussing at length about Xander, and came up with a redesign of him that would undoubtedly shake things up, but be marginally better in the long run.

Hey all!
          
          It's been a bit since my last announcement, and I would have gone right back to writing, but recently, I've been exploring an idea I scrapped very early on for Xander. Memory and I have been discussing at length, and if I decide to bring this idea back to light, this could trigger a rewrite again to compensate for Xander's changes. I won't promise anything just yet, but I'll keep you guys posted on whether or not the idea happens, and if I need a second opinion, I'll put up a poll or something. Stay sharp, y'all!

Hey all! 
          
          I know I haven't said anything about Superstar Mania in a bit, and that's my bad. See, I was writing something new for Thanksgiving and was hoping to have it done on time (before Thanksgiving Day), but it doesn't look like that will happen unfortunately. There ended up being a lot of changes, and with irl stuff going on, I can't see myself coming close to being done on time at all. So sadly, this story will have to be cancelled, and I will return to working on SM in due time. I apologize for the delay.
          
          
          That said, I do need a break, and will return to writing very soon! I appreciate the understanding, and I'll see you soon

So Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming up (yes everyone, Thanksgiving exists, turn down Mariah Carrey for a second lol). I wonder if something unique is in order for the holidays?

Wow, I got quite the follower count since last time!
          
          So for those of you who are new, I am Xander Ardyn, and I write stories that center around lore and exploration. My current project is "Xander & Jackie: Superstar Mania," and my side project is a prequel story (rated mature), featuring one of the main characters called "The One Left Behind."
          
          I do most of my updates and chapter excerpt reveals in my Discord server, so if you want, you should join up to follow the stories more closely! The link will be attached at the end of this post.
          
          As it stands, I write to my own pace, which can be slightly inconsistent and long. The tradeoff, however, are chapters that normally range from 3k to 4k words long. So I hope it makes up for the time that it takes to write these.

          I've been sick this past week, so I haven't been writing. But now that it's pretty much died down now, I can get back to it. That, of course, includes my long overdue WIP update on the Chapter 2 rewrite... wait. Is it even really a rewrite at this point? It's basically a whole new chapter now that I've changed core parts of the original Superstar Mania story!
