Wow, I got quite the follower count since last time!
          
          So for those of you who are new, I am Xander Ardyn, and I write stories that center around lore and exploration. My current project is "Xander & Jackie: Superstar Mania," and my side project is a prequel story (rated mature), featuring one of the main characters called "The One Left Behind."
          
          I do most of my updates and chapter excerpt reveals in my Discord server, so if you want, you should join up to follow the stories more closely! The link will be attached at the end of this post.
          
          As it stands, I write to my own pace, which can be slightly inconsistent and long. The tradeoff, however, are chapters that normally range from 3k to 4k words long. So I hope it makes up for the time that it takes to write these.

          I've been sick this past week, so I haven't been writing. But now that it's pretty much died down now, I can get back to it. That, of course, includes my long overdue WIP update on the Chapter 2 rewrite... wait. Is it even really a rewrite at this point? It's basically a whole new chapter now that I've changed core parts of the original Superstar Mania story!

Hey all! Sorry for the little bit on inactivity on here, I had to do some things irl. However, since the weekend is now upon us, I shall be back to work, harder than ever!
          
          First order of business is to get "The One Left Behind" polished and published, so that the first chapter is actually readable lol. It may release without a cover again, but I'll at least have a base from which I can continue writing the story and tying it to my main project, Superstar Mania.
          
          Speaking of, I'm about halfway done with Chapter 2. I'll get back on that this weekend as well, so I'll try to get a decent excerpt out there like I normally do in these situations.
          
          There's at least a few things to look forward to, and I hope I don't disappoint! I'll see you guys later

I have momentarily taken down "The One Left Behind" because someone's been stealing my stories without my knowledge and posting them on a third party site. The story will return, however, I'm not sure if it'll be here, or on either one of my other two platforms, Quotev and Scribble Hub. I'll let you know once I know!

Hello again! I recently unveiled a new character called Chelsea, and she seemed to be a hit. So, I have started a sub story with the character that takes place thousands of years before the events of “Xander & Jackie: Superstar Mania.” It’s called “The One Left Behind,” and you can read the pilot chapter right now!

           Alright chat, I got some good news for you (finally lmao)
          
          Starting with some new updates, I joined a Wattpad community who was able to help me access resources to help my writing, on top of promoting my work as well. Hopefully, this means that this story will get more attention as time progresses. We’ll see what happens.
          
          On another note, I’ve been juggling between the Chapter 1 rewrite, and my irl situation. I won’t bore you with the latter, it’s nothing that you haven’t already heard. However, I will tell you about the former. Not only is Superstar Mania officially out of hiatus, the Chapter 1 rewrite is slowly coming to a close as I am now 95% done with the first draft. There’s still a little more to go, but it’s almost there.
          
          I’ll come back with new updates as I have them. But for now, know that the Chapter 1 rewrite is almost available for everyone to read.

Hey all! I know I haven't posted in a while, so here's everything that's happened while I was away. 
          
          As my Discord server knows, I am currently experiencing homelessness. I am currently staying at a homeless shelter awaiting temporary housing, and in the meantime, I'm also juggling "Xander & Jackie: Superstar Mania." I had to take a hiatus from it to focus on myself and get over writer's block. 
          
          I will be getting back on the grind soon. I can't say when, but all I can say is "soon." Hopefully, I'll soon have a job, and I can start rebuilding my life again. I only have an iPad and a Bluetooth keyboard to write my story from, so we'll see how all that goes. I also set up a Ko-fi for donations because enough people asked me. You can find it on my Wattpad profile, actually. I won't beg for donations, but anything you can spare would really help me out!
          
          The rewrite seems to be doing alright for now. I'll be continuing the rewrite the way it's going, as I feel a lot more confident in its presentation. I also added a character that was initially scrapped from the original version of the story, a human mage named Chelsea. I'll release her character card, along with Xander's and Jackie's on Wattpad soon!
