(2 from the one i made a few seconds ago cause it doesnt work)
Actually, the truth about this was I was going to prove this wrong. I was so confident that I could prove the Disney was original with “Lilo and Stitch”. It’s a very creative movie with engaging characters and plot.
I might need to pick up a book called Lilo’s Adventures with Stitch now, by the way.
That’s really upsetting ‘cause “Lilo and Stitch” is my all-time favorite movie. I was so excited to go on and on about how creative and wonderful it is, but no.
I got really depressed for a while and sulked. And I watched a Disney movie.
Specifically, “The Emperor's New Groove”. Funny movie, good movie. If you haven’t watched it, you should.
And that’s when my world was expanded in the blink of an eye. It was like Thanos snapped, a bunch of Disney execs died, and my head was cleared.
Pop quiz: How many llamas are in “The Emperor’s New Clothes”?
(For uncultured people, the answer is none.)
Question 2: How many llamas are in “The Emperor’s New Groove”, which is inspired by “The Emperor's New Clothes”?
(The answer, for the uncultured people I mentioned before, is one. One very important llama named Kuzco.)
For those of you who have not drawn an inference yet, putting llamas in chinese folk tales is pretty creative. And original! And entertaining! And heck if it doesn’t prove that this company made something original!
          	But wait, there’s more!
A very depressing movie called “Brother Bear” was based on a native american myth about a dude who happens to turn into a bear!
But it’s arguably nothing like the myth!
“Princess and the Frog” is nothing like the original story, either! And if you haven’t seen “Princess and the Frog” then 1) don’t talk to me and 2) WATCH IT NOW.
As you can see, it’s a good, original movie. With a good, original plot. And good, original characters!
At the moment I’m happily blinking back proud tears for Disney.
And I’m very happy because DISNEY CAN BE ORIGINAL!

so
          i made
          a thing
          for speech
If you cried at the death of Mufasa, screamed when the boat tipped over at the end of “Kiss The Girl”, or have ever heard a little girl screeching “Let it Go”, then BOY HOWDY, do I have a speech for you!
A controversy has come up ever since Disney slapped furries on Shakespeare: Is Disney actually capable of making good, original movies?
Now, I know you don’t want me to ruin whatever little childhood you had, but let me tell you- Disney’s plot choices suck! A lot!
But are they original? Most are based on books, myths, fairy tales, etc… But some are not. And I’m only counting movies here, Mickey Mouse and company don’t count, and we also aren’t counting DisneyPixar movies, because I’d be here for years. This still leaves a wide range, but shows how little original content Disney produces. I’m not going to name all of them, but let me list what kicks them off the “original content” list. Most movies are unoriginal because they were either World War II propaganda (Which are very interesting, and I want to watch them), very racist (Looking at you, “Song of the South”), or ripoffs/tributes/adaptations. To name some that don’t fall into this category: (not including fantasia) “Dinosaur” and “Home on the Range”.
“The Lion King” is one I really, really, really wanted to enter, because there is a loophole: Disney calls the striking similarities a “coincidence”. But, I draw the line somewhere and I’m already being a cutthroat jerk so- NOPE! (And “The Lion King” gets on my nerves)
That leaves me two movies that I deem to be horrible creations of man. I might be biased, but when the movie kills Disney for like five years, it’s bad. Or when it’s an unheard-of Disney movie. Then it’s also bad.
So two bad movies, and a bunch of based works/ripoffs. Now what? I’m at a dead end.
