Hey Lovelies! 
          
          I've been reflecting a lot on The Soulmates Series. Writing it has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life and has made me connected to you in ways I never expected. It's because of that connection that I want to be transparent with you about something important.
          
          For the foreseeable future, The Soulmates Series will be discontinued due to repeated plagiarism. While some platforms have responded to my DMCA takedown requests, multiple other platforms have been unresponsive. Google has advised that legal action is an option, but at this time, the series will be officially discontinued on Wattpad. 
          
          I'll be using this time to focus on new stories and personal ventures that I'm working on, and I hope to share more with you here and on my socials. I truly hope you will like and support these new works.
          
          From the bottom of my heart, thank you so, so, SO much for joining me on Ashton and Elizabeth's journey. It means the universe to me to have met you all as we explored the world together over these past 5 years.
          
          Writing The Soulmates Series helped me through very difficult times and rewarded me with many wonderful memories. Your comments, laughs, and tears along the way have made this experience truly special.
          
          I am deeply grateful for over ten million reads on the entire series. I'll still be active on Wattpad, so you can drop a message on my message board or reach out on Instagram. 
          
          Perhaps one day The Soulmates Series will return. This isn't the end, but a new beginning.

          Just a quick note to let you know that the recent chapter reposts are part of a DMCA takedown request. I needed to verify that I'm the original author, as someone unfortunately plagiarized my story on another site again.

Hi Abigail! I was wondering if you still have plans for The Soulmates series? If you published it, I would absolutely be willing to buy it! Also, from the previous edited and revised chapters you posted, I absolutely loved them and it would be amazing if you continued that. Otherwise are there other projects that you are working on? Hii, where can I find the original version of The Soulmate series??

          Over the past months, I've received so many kind messages sharing your love and support for The Soulmates Series. I'm still handling the plagiarism issues, but progress is being made, and I'd like to revisit the series.
          
          I have gotten many requests to bring back the original version of The Soulmates Series alongside the rewritten version. That really means a lot to me because this series has shaped my journey as a writer and provided me with so many opportunities, like meeting you and joining the Wattpad Creator's Program ❤️️
          
          I'm willing to pause the rewrite and take time to edit the original version. This won’t be a complete overhaul of the story. I'll keep the plot and characters you know and love, and every scene from the original will remain—I'll just be refining the dialogue and grammar. I'll also be adding a few new scenes and rearranging some chapters to improve the pacing and enhance character relationships.
          
          This won't be a perfect version of the story. My goal as a writer and my vision for the series have changed, and the version that fully reflects this will be a rewrite. I'll be doing the rewrite offline because of plagiarism concerns, and I hope to share that version with you one day, alongside new works.
          
          I'd really love to hear your thoughts. Would you be interested in reading an edited version of The Soulmates Series (not a rewrite) that keeps all the original scenes and characters, adds a few new ones, and improves the pacing, grammar, and dialogue while staying true to the heart of the story?

          I hope you're all doing well! Your messages of support mean the world to me—I’ve missed you all SO much.
          
          I'm here to update you on the situation with my series. The plagiarized version is still out there, and despite my efforts to have it removed, the website responsible has completely ignored me. I've sent multiple DMCA takedown requests (which are legal notices asking them to remove stolen content), contacted the website’s host, registrar, and even the registry, but to no avail.
          
          Since they won’t cooperate, I've turned to Google to have the site hidden from search results. To help with this process, I’ll be republishing a few chapters of the original version of the Soulmates Series (not the revised version). My goal is to finally resolve this issue so I can bring the story back to you—and also share everything else I’ve been working on behind the scenes!
          
          Thank you for your patience and for being the most wonderful friends and readers. Your support means everything to me, and I can't wait to share more with you soon.
