@XclusivelyA that's totally fine, Abigail! I'm looking for a perspective that can be objectively from an outsider too (from both demographics). My understanding is that with Wattpad and the internet in general, a lot of the physical barriers between nations have broken down to a certain extent. Like how Kpop is a world-wide phenomenon now. How the biggest demographic consumers of Thai BL dramas are actually American women who identify as straight. So, I would love to include your varied perspective in the research as well.

However, I wanted to mention that I’m not from either of those demographics, so I’m not sure I’d be able to provide the perspective you’re looking for.
