There isn't really anything dramatic about me you should know.  I'm not wealthy, or popular, or even particularly smart.  But one thing I can say about myself is that I'm pretty good at looking at the big picture, and in the big scheme of things I genuinely believe that I am lucky to the point of guilt.  
Also, I (think) I can write, and I'm sure you all realise you can't go wrong with that.
Sometimes people have difficulty understanding what I SAY, let alone what I write, so don't feel obliged to like everything (or ANYTHING for that matter) on the list below.
But I get the feeling you want something a little more philosophical than that, so please welcome the most honourable Robert Louis Stevenson:
