              I hope all of you are doing well today.  I am editing the next two chapters of "The Love We Choose."  Huan is FINALLY released from the hospital and rumors are starting to fly about Lynne at work.  The new chapters should be updated by Friday at 10am EST.

             Chapter 63 of "The Love We Choose" is in editing stages and should be up by tomorrow morning.  But it is so darn hot out I don't know if I will have the energy to get to it.  The extreme heat and humidity saps all my energy.

             I hope you are all well.  It is a wonderfully bright and sunny day where I am after almost two weeks of dismal weather.  I have uploaded a new chapter for "The Love We Choose."  Do me a favor and take a look, then let me know what you think.

          I hope this finds you all in the best of health, mental clarity, and creativity.  Recently, I have had to evaluate what direction I want my path to go in once I realized I didn't feel like myself anymore. 
          
          So today I wish you all the best in making tough decisions, following your passions, and maintaining your true self.  
          
          Also, I updated a new chapter of "The Love We Choose." It was nothing big, just a fluffy chapter after the mild agitation in the previous chapter.

I feel it has taken me a while to update this story because I know we are barreling toward the end of its saga and I don't want to let it go.  However, all things must come to an end.  So is life.

Good Friday Lovelies!
            You know, sometimes you want to write and sometimes you want to curl up with a good book series or twelve and just read.   I think that is where I am mentally at the moment.  I've lost the drive to really keep grinding on my work.  Until I find it, I will be on an official hiatus for "The Love We Choose."   I will continue to read works of my fellow authors on this site. 
          
          Go outside and get some sunshine on your face if you can.

           I hope this reaches you in the best of health, happiness, and creativity on this glorious summer day (at least in my neck of the woods).  I woke up with a plot bunny hopping all around my head that I quickly typed up and threw into my "Writer's Block" collection.  It's a short called "A Foul Wind Blows."  It centers around a woman whose estranged father dies and she deals with the aftermath in the midst of a new change in her life.   I may flesh it out at a later date and publish the full story, but that will be in the far future.  Hopefully, in the near future, I will be updating "The Love We Choose."  The fates have yet to give me the push I need to feel comfortable with the rewrites I have done on the next three chapters for that story.

Good Afternoon Wordsmiths and Word-Lovers!
            I hope you have all been well.  My last month has been a whirlwind of work related nonsense, baby showers, weddings, graduations, and more nonsense than I can even remember.  I have found myself in a sort of rut when it comes to my creative outlets.  I need to edit and post, but there is no fire behind it once more.   Fingers, toes, and everything in between crossed, I will give you a few more chapters of "The Love We Choose" next week.  Only the fates know.
          
          Till then, I wish you happy days, love from all directions of your existence, and enough rest to push you through!
